BUNKEI (PATTERN)
- Subject + wa + Predicate/Noun + desu → positive sentence
- Subject + wa + P/N + ja arimasen/dewa arimasen →negative sentence
- Subject + wa + P/N + desu + ka? → Interrogative sentence
- ….mo…. → particle mo is used after a topic instead of 'wa' when the statement about the topic is the same as the previous topic.
- Place + no + status/occupation → this particle is used to connect two noun, it explain that the place which the status belongs.
REIBUN (EXAMPLE)
- Watashi wa Erika desu. >> I am Erika.
- Alex-kun wa nihon-jin ja arimasen. >> Alex isn't japanese people.
- Erika-san wa gakusei ja arimasen. >> Ms. Erika isn't student
- Anata wa isha desuka? >> Are you a doctor?
- Grace-san wa ginkouin desu. Ester-san mo ginkouin desu. >> Ms. Grace is a bank employee. Ms. Ester is also a bank employee.
- Watashi wa Indoneshia-jin desu. Erlina sensei mo Indoneshia-jin desu. >> I am Indonesian people. Ms. Erlina is also Indonesian people.
- Rebecca-san wa enjinia desuka? Hai, [watashi wa] enjinia desu. >> Is Ms. Rebecca an engineer? Yes, I am an engineer.
- Diana-san wa hisho desu. Joey-san mo hisho desuka? Iie, Joey-san wa hisho dewa arimasen. >> Ms. Diana is a secretary. Is Ms. Joey also a secretary? No, Ms. Joey isn't a secretary.
- Anokata wa donata desuka? Erlina-san desu. Sutomo-gakkou no sensei desu. >> Who is that person? She is Ms. Erlina. She is a teacher at Sutomo school.
- Stefani-san wa nan-sai desuka? 19-sai desu. >> How old is Ms.Stefani? She is nineteen years old .
